Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 12, 2026

IntelCue (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our platform. The Service is operated by the entity identified in our Terms of Service, which acts as data controller.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

2. How We Use Your Information

3. Data Storage and Retention

Your data is stored securely on our servers. Content from sources is retained according to the retention period you configure (30, 60, or 90 days). After the retention period, content is automatically deleted. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.

Data minimization. Monitored public content may incidentally contain personal data (such as an author’s name). We minimize what we retain: we store the publication or source name rather than personal author bylines, we keep only the unsubscribe headers from captured newsletters (discarding sender/recipient addresses and routing information), we anonymize IP addresses stored for security, we redact email addresses from our application logs, we automatically redact structured personal data (such as email addresses, phone numbers, and IP addresses) from stored source content, and we remove subscriber-identifying unsubscribe links from stored newsletter content.

4. Third-Party Services

We integrate with third-party services such as YouTube, Slack, and others. When you connect these services, their respective privacy policies also apply. We only access data that you explicitly authorize through OAuth consent screens. For the complete, maintained list of the sub-processors we use to operate the Service (including their purpose and processing location), see our Sub-processor List.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed credentials, and secure token storage. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and are never exposed to the frontend.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Legal bases (GDPR). We process personal data on the basis of contract (to provide the service to you), legitimate interests (monitoring public sources for competitive intelligence, improving the service, and security), and consent (where applicable, such as analytics cookies). We maintain a Data Protection Impact Assessment for our monitoring activities.

Individuals appearing in monitored content. If you are not a user but your personal data may appear in content monitored through IntelCue, you may request access, objection, or erasure by contacting us at [email protected].

International transfers. We use service providers located in the United States (including hosting, content delivery, AI processing, analytics, and payments). Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the applicable Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy mechanism.

8. Cookies

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised date.
