Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 12, 2026
IntelCue (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our platform.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account Information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account.
- Connected Accounts: When you connect third-party services (e.g., LinkedIn), we store OAuth tokens to access data on your behalf. We only request permissions necessary for the service to function.
- Slack Integration: If you connect Slack, we store your Slack workspace ID, selected channel preferences, and encrypted webhook URLs to deliver notifications on your behalf.
- Source Data: Content from sources you add (newsletters, blogs, LinkedIn profiles, news feeds, YouTube channels, websites, patents, SEC filings, Google Ads Transparency data) is collected and stored within your workspace.
- Usage Data: We collect basic usage information such as pages visited and features used to improve our service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain our intelligence monitoring service.
- To analyze content from your configured sources and generate insights, trends, and content suggestions.
- To authenticate your identity and manage your account.
- To communicate with you about your account or service updates.
3. Data Storage and Retention
Your data is stored securely on our servers. Content from sources is retained according to the retention period you configure (30, 60, or 90 days). After the retention period, content is automatically deleted. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.
4. Third-Party Services
We integrate with third-party services such as LinkedIn, YouTube, and others. When you connect these services, their respective privacy policies also apply. We only access data that you explicitly authorize through OAuth consent screens.
- Slack: If you connect Slack, we send insight summaries, competitive alerts, and briefings to your chosen Slack channel via encrypted webhooks. No message content from your Slack workspace is read or stored by IntelCue. See Slack's privacy policy for details.
- AI Processing: Content may be processed by AI services (Anthropic Claude) to generate insights and recommendations. This data is not used to train AI models.
- AI-Generated Images: We use Pollinations.ai to generate hero images for briefings. Only an AI-generated text prompt is sent to Pollinations — no personal data or user content is transmitted. See Pollinations' privacy policy for details.
- Google Tag Manager & Analytics: We use Google Tag Manager (which loads Google Analytics) to collect anonymous usage data (pages visited, time on site, device type) to improve our service. These services may set cookies on your device. See Google's privacy policy for details.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only in the following circumstances:
- With service providers who assist in operating our platform (hosting, database, AI processing).
- When required by law or to protect our legal rights.
- With your explicit consent.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed credentials, and secure token storage. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and are never exposed to the frontend.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Disconnect third-party accounts at any time.
- Export your data.
- Delete your account entirely.
8. Cookies
- Essential cookies: Used for authentication and session management. These are required for the service to function.
- Analytics cookies: Set by Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data (pages visited, time on site, device type). These help us understand how the service is used and improve it.
- No advertising cookies: We do not use cookies for advertising, remarketing, or behavioral targeting.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised date.
